This Privacy Policy explains how ViralShorts Studio (“ViralShorts Studio”, “we”, “our”, or “the Service”) handles information when users access our website or connect supported third-party services through the ViralShorts Studio desktop application.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features a user chooses to use and the permissions the user grants, ViralShorts Studio may process:
- Basic authorized account information, such as display name, username, profile image, and other profile fields made available through an approved API.
- Available account statistics, such as follower count, following count, total likes, and video count.
- Authorized public video information and metadata, such as video identifiers, titles or descriptions, publication dates, thumbnails, and available engagement statistics including views, likes, comments, and shares.
- Technical information necessary to operate authentication, including authorization codes, access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiration information, and connection status.
- Basic technical logs needed to diagnose errors and maintain application security.
2. TikTok Data
When a user connects a TikTok account, TikTok authentication and authorization are handled through TikTok's official authorization flow. ViralShorts Studio requests only the scopes required for the features presented to the user. We access TikTok information only after the user grants permission.
3. How We Use Information
We use authorized information to provide the functions selected by the user, including displaying account information, organizing public videos, showing available engagement statistics, supporting content-performance review, maintaining account connections, and troubleshooting application operation.
4. Sharing and Sale of Data
We do not sell authorized TikTok user data. We do not share authorized TikTok user data with unrelated third parties for their independent advertising or marketing purposes. Information may be processed by infrastructure or service providers only when necessary to operate the Service and subject to appropriate obligations, or when disclosure is required by law.
5. Authentication Tokens and Security
Authentication credentials and tokens are treated as sensitive information. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect them from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Users should never publicly disclose API keys, client secrets, passwords, or access tokens.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant functionality, maintain security, comply with applicable obligations, or resolve legitimate disputes. Locally stored application data may remain on the user's device until the user removes it or uninstalls the application, subject to the application's available controls.
7. Disconnecting an Account and Deletion
Users may disconnect a supported account through the application when that function is available. Disconnecting stops future authorized requests made through that account connection. Users may also request deletion of personal information associated with the Service through the support channel described on our Support page. We may need limited information to verify and complete a deletion request.
8. Third-Party Platforms
Third-party services, including TikTok, operate under their own terms and privacy policies. ViralShorts Studio does not control how those third-party platforms independently process information.
9. Children's Privacy
ViralShorts Studio is not directed to children under the minimum age required to use the relevant connected platform or under applicable law. We do not knowingly design the Service to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
10. International Processing
Information may be processed in jurisdictions where the Service or its infrastructure providers operate, subject to applicable legal requirements and safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, connected APIs, legal requirements, or operational practices. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
